Become a certified facilitator

Certification prepares educators, health workers, and youth leaders to teach CAPE, HARNESS, or both — with fidelity and in a trauma-informed way.
Certified facilitators get a license to the Educators Hub: session scripts, slides, printables, and interactive tools for their track.
How certification works
Application
Choose your track. CAPE applicants confirm mandated reporter status, background check, and a co-facilitator.
Core training
Work through every session as a participant, then as the person leading it.
Practicum evaluation
Deliver a live segment, scored against a track-specific rubric.
Scenario assessment
Handle realistic room challenges — pushback, disclosures, and questions outside scope.
Certificate
Certified HARNESS Facilitator or Certified CAPE Youth Facilitator, with Green, Blue, or both track endorsements.
CAPE workshop formats
90-minute session
An introduction to CAPE and the MATCH Compass.
Half-day core or full-day complete
Half-day (4 hrs) covers mindset, boundaries, consent, the 3-Second Rule, the MATCH Compass, and the Digital Handoff. Full-day (5.5 hrs) adds the remaining Part 4 lessons and the 30-Day Challenge launch.
Two-day intensive
The whole book, Parts 1–5: adds protection, medical shields, clinic navigation, and the Green Light Pivot. 6.5 hrs per day.
Every CAPE session requires two adults in the room and follows mandated reporting procedures.
